I have been a licensed life and disability insurance agent since 1984. I have specialized in the sales of life, annuity, disability and long term care insurance as an independent agent. From 1999-2001, I worked at SelectQuote Insurance Services, a major life insurance agency in San Francisco, CA, leading a team specializing in providing insurance coverage to clients with complex medical histories and seniors. I have been certified by the Partnership for Long Term Care in California and have extensive experience in the use of insurance products in the arena of estate planning and wealth preservation. I've presented overviews of Section 125 employee benefit plans and group disability insurance to professional business organizations in the SF Bay Area and have assisted employers in providing comprehensive benefit programs for their employees. While still licensed, I have not sold life insurance since 2004. I am a graduate of the University of California, Riverside. I regularly appear in front of professional advocacy groups, government agencies, and groups as an advocate for Elders.
